Responsibilities:
- To coordinate the daily operations of the clinic (front counter services, administrative, and operational matters)
- Assist the Business Unit / Operations Manager in the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for all operational areas of the clinic.
- Oversee and supervise the training and development of clinic staff members
- Plan and coordinate the daily work assignments and operations
- Manage a group of patient service associates and conduct appraisals for these staff
- Coordinate the daily administrative matters including of reconciliation of accounts payable and receivables.
- Working in partnership with clinic staff members to ensure the delivery of quality patient care and services.
- Work closely with Clinic staff, Podiatrists and Head Office Operational Support and other stakeholders to ensure that the clinic runs smoothly
- Ensure that facilities are patient-friendly, safe and clean.
- Responsible for ensuring that clinic staff receive appropriate induction, orientation and training so that they possess appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs.
- Responsible for communication between staff and head office. Coordinator should ensure timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues, recommendation and implementation of solutions to problems
- Perform reception duties, scheduling of appointment, registration, dispensing of medication, payment collection and administrative duties relating to patients.
- Assist podiatrists with the provision of treatment and patient examinations
- Involve in administrative functions relating to work area such as stationary/drug/consumable ordering/stock-take
- Perform sterilization related work
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Possess at least a "O" Level, Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC in any field.
- At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, staff and others both verbally and in written correspondences
- Excellent teamwork & people skills
- Motivated individual and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality
- Confident in handling administrative work using – Word/Excel, computer system and mobile apps
- Able to commit 5.5 days work week (half-day Saturday)
