Role Overview
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare and ensure timely submission of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Handle payroll processing, including CPF submissions and tax-related filings.
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders for audits and statutory reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
- Support ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts (2+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
