Responsibilities:
You are responsible for evaluating market conditions, calculating and pricing shipping contracts, negotiating and fixing charter parties, maintaining and developing relationships with clients, agents, brokers, Charterers and Owners, and monitoring voyage performance while collaborating closely with the Commercial Operations Department.
Requirements:
· Chartering experience in shipowning/ship-operating is imperative.
· Experience on Handy and Supramax trades is preferred.
· Self-motivated and independent, able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
· Commercial mindset combined with good interpersonal skills.
· Reliable, proactive and professional.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
· Able to travel internationally.
