As a member of the Fund Accounting Team, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional fund administration services to a range of clients (hedge fund, private equity fund, fund of funds or family office) and act as a point of contact for your clients providing them with a consistently high level of service.

Prior fund accounting experience is not required and on the job training will also be provided. The role is a based in Singapore.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintaining the books and records of the funds.
• Completion of client reporting.
• Liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis and acting as a primary contact for clients.
• Manage the audit process ensuring timely and successful completion of fund audits including preparation of fund financial statements.
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• A person with 5+ years working experience in the funds industry. A qualified accountant is preferred but not a must.
• A self-directed, client focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• A person with a strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting.
• Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines both within a team structure or independently.
• Proficient in Paxus is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Singapore Citizen or PR required.

As the Senior Manager, you will have the responsibility for the smooth running of the Fund Accounting Department, servicing Hedge Fund and Private Equity Fund, with a small, experienced team of fund accountants.

Signing off on all work in the department, which includes:

· NAV Calculations

· Financial Statements

· CIMA / MAS Reporting

· Payment processed on behalf of clients

· Other ad hoc reporting

· Staffing of department, training and mentoring staff

· Review of policies and procedures and recommending improvements

· Onboarding of new clients

· Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting

You will be the primary contact for our clients and will be closely involved in the take-on of new business. You will report to the Managing Director and be a key part of a small management team that runs the Company on a day-to-day basis.

You will also take a lead role in projects and strategic planning both at a local and group level.

Qualifications and Experience:

A number of years’ experience within the Funds environment with an excellent understanding of the funds industry and its regulatory environment is essential.

Suit progressive candidate seeking to join a business where they can add value and assist with strategy. At least 7 years experience in a Fund Accounting environment, of which at least one year should be in a supervisory/management role.

Active CPA/ACCA member is not required but it is a plus.
