Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists the Outlet/Assistant Manager in his/her responsibilities.
• Take full responsibility for the restaurant operation in the absence of the Manager
• Train, supervise, and motivate the team.
• Observe performance and encourage improvement.
• Inspect working areas before and after meal periods.
• Communicate with the kitchen team to issue the daily specials menu.
• Hold pre-service briefings to communicate specials, missing items, and special requests.
• Present menu, make recommendations, and answer questions.
• Upsell products.
• Check on guest’s satisfaction.
• Monitor service and ensure that KPI standards are always met.
• Acquire thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Advise guests and promote additional sales.
• Ensure that proper opening and closing functions are completed each shift.
• Assists management with monthly beverage stock take and equipment inventory.
• Issue daily end-of-shift reports and provide management with feedback.

Desirable Experience, Qualifications, & Attributes

• Previous Experience in a Restaurant environment for at least 3 years in a similar or higher position
• Thorough knowledge of F&B outlet preparations, including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, serving techniques, and guest interaction.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• A high standard of personal presentation.
• Confident, professional,and welcoming personality.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

You will effectively and efficiently manage the Reservations Department ensuring all inquiries are professionally dealt with, through prompt, effective, and proper reservations service to achieve maximum revenue by proactively converting sales inquiries in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handling the phone and email inquiries and being the face and voice of our guests.
• Maintain cordial relations with commercial clients.
• Creative in planning proposals, birthdays, and anniversary surprises.
• Follows up on tentative bookings and updates reservation status.
• Reviews no-show, cancelled reservations, and processes charges according to company policy.
• Handling the customer registration before boarding the ship.
• The successful applicant for this role must be committed to delivering excellent customer service and have a positive 'can do attitude'
• You will need to work during public holidays and weekends as our ship is chartered and sailing during these days.
• Able to speak mandarin to liaise and connect with our customer from China.

Must be Mandarin speaking (Bi-lingual)

Position open to Singaporeans only
Salary: $2,700 - $3,200 depending upon experience
