As a lean organisation, our client is looking for a versatile, dynamic, organized, proactive and self-motivated individual for the role of Accountant, directly reporting to the Finance Director.

The following is a brief, non-exhaustive description of the responsibilities for the role:

• Manage all accounting transactions for head office entities in Singapore
• Manage expenses payments and report on companies’ cash position and liquidity weekly
• Manage accounts reconciliation process on monthly basis (bank accounts, accounts payable, receivable and intercompany balances)
• Manage auditors and tax agents, including preparing the necessary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned entities
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts
• Prepare cashflow forecast quarterly
• Prepare the GST returns on quarterly basis. Familiarity with GST filings and claimable/ non claimable items will be important.
• Any other ad hoc tasks

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like NetSuite
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior management to identify and address HR needs and implement effective hiring and retention strategies.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years or more experience in a HR generalist role, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Good interpersonal, communication and empathy skills.
• Detailed-oriented, analytically inclined and possess good problem solving skills.
• Adaptable and resilient.

Job Description

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Formulate plans and procedures to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Identify opportunities to optimize operational processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operations across various departments which involves planning, production, engineering, quality control and logistics management.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance. Monitor these metrics regularly, identify areas for improvement as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum university graduate in business or engineering with more than 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.

• Have knowledge and competent in Indonesia tax, customs, & manpower regulations.
• Dynamic in work
