Job Description

Tamarind Global Pte Ltd is a single family office which manages the investment portfolio and philanthropic initiatives of a Singaporean family. Although Tamarind has deep Singapore roots, the family’s professional and personal endeavors are global in nature.

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual with exceptional communication skills to provide administrative support for the CEO and investment team.

The ideal candidate understands the importance of discretion, enjoys multi-tasking, and can thrive in an international work environment. We welcome candidates with work experience from a variety of industries including but not limited to finance, hospitality and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit excellent judgement and a keen awareness of privacy and discretion
• Provide administrative support to the CEO and investment team, including calendar management across time zones, complex travel bookings and other ad hoc tasks
• Independently manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
• Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication etiquette with global standards in mind
• Manage a wide variety of vendors and contacts

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience
• Authorised to work in Singapore (Citizen or PR)
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Discreet and detail-oriented self starter with excellent judgement and problem solving skills
• Willingness and ability to travel is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as key member of close-knit investment team with focus on private equity and alternative investments
• Engage in activities related to sourcing, analysis, and diligence of potential investment opportunities
• Actively contribute to the investment process, including participation in team discussions, investment research, and implementation of strategic asset allocation
• Aggregate and analyze performance data; compile routine reports for review by investment team
• Assist with portfolio operations, including tracking capital calls and preparing subscription documents
• Support team with management of relationships with external consultants and fund managers

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in investment management, private wealth management or related field
• Authorised to work in Singapore (Citizen or PR)
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Extensive experience building complex financial models and / or financial reports in Excel
• Keen interest in understanding financial markets, particularly private equity
• Discreet and detail-oriented self started with excellent judgement and problem solving skills
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure
• A growth mindset- willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic investment environment
