Job Purpose

Analyze, design, develop and maintain of IT applications, including documentation and post-implementation customer support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Billing & Payment systems that are primarily using JAVA technologies.
• Study requirements of customers and provide necessary technical/functional consultancy for building requirements
• Assist Project Manager/Technical Lead to recommend approach for solutions according to user needs
• Analyse, design, develop, test, document and maintain in-house custom solutions for corporate.
• Develop test cases, conduct SIT, load test, and tune the performance of systems to meet service standards.
• Perform and manage stages of the SDLC / system implementation and participate in the systems review with Project Lead/Manager.
• Deploy systems to production and provide post-implementation support.
• Support weekend / after office hour maintenance support activities.
• Provide system documents as required at each stage of system implementation.

Requirement

• Possess good experience in application development and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields.
• Experience in research and evaluation of third-party solutions, products, and tools.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems analysis, design, programming with knowledge of one or more of the following technologies / services:
  • Development and writing of java code, deploy, support and upgrade/migrate the JAVA 8 & above , Springboot application, Tomcat, TomEE, Jboss, Weblogic
  • Experience in XML, SOAP, REST API based application
  • Knowledge on Hibernate, Spring MVC, Springboot, Java ,Oracle,MS SQL and My SQL Database.
  • Familiarity in secure code development and scanning for code quality , performance and security
  • Logs tracing for application, server etc.
• Hands on source code management using tools like VSTS or TFS
• Quality-first mindset with focus on test automation and CI/CD
• Knowledge in secured code development practices and use of tools for testing code security as part of development will be an added advantage

• Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
• Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
