Job Purpose:
- To provide directions for implementation of business systems that serve Teckwah’s business strategies.
- To oversee and manage a team of engineers and developers in the deployment and support of Teckwah’s business systems
- To understand customers’ needs and implement the new capabilities to fulfill users’ requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of support engineers and developers to provide operations support to the users in the use of ERP system. This includes managing the team to provide level 1 and 2 support, attending to daily operations issue and requests, and providing technical advisory to resolve systems and operations issues.
- Engage users and customers for new enhancements and modifications to the systems for new deployment or implementations. Plan these implementations and manage the team and resources for the deployment of these implementations, and, if necessary, to work with subject matter experts and consultants to implement enhancements to meet user’s needs.
- Understand the existing and future operation’s needs, the manager will assist the head of department to plan for system upgrade and/or acquisition of new systems to support Teckwah’s strategic business objectives.
- Understand system lifecycle management and processes and ensure all system implementation, development, support adhere to TW defined processes and industry best practices.
- Being the leader of the team, to plan and manage the team members support activities, training and career development to fulfill their respective roles in Teckwah.
Job Requirements:
Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Engineering or related discipline.
- Led in at least 2 IT implementation or development projects, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Turnkey Manufacturing.
- At least 8 years of working experience, of which 5 years in a team lead or managerial capacity.
Critical Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of integrated business applications systems, specifically, in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Third Party Fulfillment or Turnkey Manufacturing.
- Understand and experience in system implementation process and system support activities and processes.
- Familiar and experience with business applications systems maintenance and the associated activities and challenges.
- Overall understanding of the business activities involved in the above-mentioned line of businesses.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP ERP systems.
Skills & Abilities
- Project planning and control skills to enable expedient rollout of salient business systems
- Keep abreast of business development and continuously ensuring the relevance of business systems
- Able to develop systematic and structured processes to ensure continued sustenance of implemented systems
- Good communicator, both verbal and written.
- Able to lead IT professionals, contract resources and system users.
- Enjoy delivering differentiating solutions.
