This role will be under the Mobile Industrial Robot (MiR) division.

Opportunity Overview

Resolve escalated customer support cases by collaborating with regional support engineers, MiR R&D and external partners.
Establish a close collaboration with the call center team based in Cebu, Philippines. Ensuring their competencies are improved over time and as new MiR products are released.
Review open support cases and distribute them in the global support team
Resolve cases according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
Review and approve hardware return and replacement requests (RMA)
Escalate any new observations to closest manager according to SOP.
Escalate new product issues and feature requests.
Keep up to date on all assigned cases according to SOP
Support R&D (E.g. Coordinate testing and release of new/reworked software and hardware with R&D)
Support Application team (E.g Wi-Fi analysis and reports)
Technical guidance and review of documentation in collaboration with Tech Comm.
Training and support of regional support engineers and call center team via documentation, webinars and on-site training.
Training of partners and end-customers in the MiR Singapore office or on-site.
Maintenance and repair of robot set up in the MiR Singapore office.
Prepare and perform robot demos and presentations in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management at the MiR Singapore office.
Review and discuss the performance of the MiR call center team with their management.
Ensure up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the MiR call center team.

BSc in Engineering – Electronics / Robotics / Mechatronics
1-3 years experience in R&D or technical support roles
Good communication skills
English at negotiation level
General IT skills and competent in Microsoft Office products
Customer service training
Customer service focused
Technical/diagnostic ability and analytic approach
Good cultural understanding
A team player
Able to navigate in a constantly changing atmosphere
Independent and able to take initiative within own area of responsibility

Professional competences - “nice to have”:

MSc in engineering
Broad knowledge of engineering subjects (mechanical/electrical/mechatronics)
WiFi/Network architecture knowledge
Prior experience at production facilities, warehouses, factories that operate robots
2nd language besides English (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc.)

The key focus of the Application Project Manager is to ensure the successful execution of large strategic autonomous mobile robot projects in collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders. The task is to master all aspects of the project management cycle, and always ensure on-time and on-budget milestones and to enable generation of additional sales.

Opportunity Overview

Responsible for strategic projects (projects and customers with large sales potential).
Analyze application and customer requirements and translate them into functional requirements together with the Application Team.
Help customers and partners optimize their design in the early stage of the project, in close coordination with Sales, customer, partner and the Application Team.
Define success criteria together with the customer and carry out project documentation.
Prepare project plans and schedules, risk assessments and business cases.
Deal with project risks, assess them in advance and seek proper support within the organization.
Schedule periodic meetings for alignment and coordination and be the first point of contact for internal stakeholders, end customers and partners.

The Teradyne Software Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Software Engineer to focus on the development of software systems for products within the Semiconductor Test division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment.

Design, implement and test system software in support of both the IG-XL development environment for the UltraFLEX family platform and Eagle software for the ETS platform.
System software supports all digital, RF and analog instruments, runs on various operating systems and this team architects and develops core services used by the driver teams.
The team also selects computing hardware that best matches product requirements and ensures that the software can run as a 64-bit application.
Duties will include developing and analyzing software requirements, developing the functional specifications and design documents based on the requirements, implementation of the code using C#, C++, .Net and COM/ATL, and unit testing and verification of the code.
The candidate will be responsible for debugging and solving complex software and computing issues.
The candidate will interface with several organizations (Factory Applications, Release Teams, Sustaining Teams and other project Teams) on a daily basis.

All About You

BSCS, BSCE, BSEE or equivalent
Desired: More than 5 years’ experience with in-depth software development experience with commercial applications.
Project work involving developing software applications that control hardware products
Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Design and software data structures, UML is desirable
Proficiency in C#, C++ and OOD required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills of complex systems is required.
Working knowledge of VB required
Ability to work as part of software development team required
Knowledge of UML Design, Version Vault and Git is a plus
Ability to understand and debug complex a system is a plus
Prior ATE experience and/or hardware knowledge is a plus
Working knowledge of computing hardware is a plus
