What you'll do
- Collaborate with the founders & business stakeholders to translate business goals into product strategy, defining value propositions, product assumptions, and hypotheses
- Own and prioritise the roadmap for a core product vertical, balancing inputs from stakeholders, customers, market research, and industry insights
- Appraise new product ideas and strategise appropriate go-to-market plans
- Lead the ideation, technical development and launch of innovative digital solutions
- Define and communicate product requirements and specifications by thinking creatively and holistically about how to solve problems
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Design, Data to deliver high-quality functional solutions
- Work with marketing and other commercial stakeholders on go-to-market launch plans
- Mentor and coach junior product managers, fostering growth and development within the team
Who we're looking for
- At least 6 years of experience in product management role or similar position, preferably in Software/ SaaS/ eCommerce companies, with demonstrable success in launching new products/ features with clear impact
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business, finance, economics or related fields
- You like to work in an environment that is obsessed with the "why"
- Strong passion for creating exceptional product experiences and solving complex merchant challenges
- Have an exceptional product and business judgement, and a high level of product management competencies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, with structure and clarity
- Excellent project management & cross-function collaboration skills
- Strong people skills, experience in working with and able to influence multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and coordination skills
- Knowledge of project management & documentation tools such as Jira & Notion
- Knowledge of wireframing & design tools, such as Balsamiq, Miro, Figma, etc
- Passion for building delightful product experiences and genuine excitement for solving merchant problems
- An entrepreneurial spirit who is self-driven, can thrive in ambiguity, create their own structure and get things done
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL or a willingness/aptitude to learn
- Keen sense of aesthetics / belief that software should be both beautiful and functional, with a low floor, high ceiling approach—simple enough for new users, but powerful enough for experts
- Experience in a startup or strategy consulting
