Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors. Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol. Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work related accidents and injuries. To assist Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work. To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in house workers. To work closely with other site operations staffs to meet the project schedule. Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings. To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers. Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship. Attend the daily tool box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly. Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work. To check and report daily manpower. To take delivery and ensure safe keeping of material delivered to site (need to load and unload materials up to 50KG). To update work progress and report to the Project Manager. Willing work on weekend is a must.

The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.

Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.

Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
