Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the development and management of investment portfolios to achieve optimal returns within the risk parameters.
2. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and trends.
3. Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Lead and coach junior staff to support daily operations, including preparing portfolio valuations and financial statements for designated portfolios and various types of funds such as MAS-authorized funds, retirement funds, and Cayman private equity funds.
4. Work closely with the research and trading teams to develop and implement investment strategies.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund management or a related role, with a proven track record of providing substantive input or influence over the merits or suitability of the investment or assets, or assuming responsibility for their investment performance.
2. Ability to independently drive projects and collaborate well with different parties within and outside the organization to deliver outcomes.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CFA certification is highly desirable.
4. Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
5. Excellent understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
6. Proven ability to manage portfolios and achieve performance targets.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
