Job Description:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Truck Driver and Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position involves ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods while assisting with warehouse operations to maintain an efficient workflow.
Truck Driving Duties:
- Operate company trucks to transport goods to and from specified destinations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle documentation as required.
Warehouse Assistance Duties:
- Assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
- Prepare orders for delivery by picking, packing, and labeling items.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Class 4 license
- Previous experience in truck driving and/or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime
