1. Assistant Production Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform basic and advanced machine assembly works
• Develop mechanical testing jigs & fixtures and perform testing and validation of machines
• Lead the production team to strictly adhere to production schedule and same time improving the manufacturing process to improve quality, cost, and productivity
• Creates, implements, and monitors KPI indicators on product quality and section capability
• Provide shop floor feedback to Production Engineering and D&D Department
• Assist the Production Manager to provide quality, cost effective and efficient support for launching of new machine models
• Perform machine mechanical setting and inspection checks according to YS standard
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve machine any kind of mechanical non conformance
• Perform machine final mechanical inspection and adjustments for any defects to maintain high level of quality
• Prepare reports on productivity, quality, claims, etc
• Work with engineering and other departments to improve assembly processes
• Monitor the serviceability of measuring instruments or jigs and fixtures and reporting to Supervisor or Manager any non-compliance condition
• Maintain accurate records of inspection result at each electrical process

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Min Diploma (Mechanical) required
• 0-3 years working in a machine assembly environment
• A good track record of supporting the department achieving KPI
• Strong understanding of 5S and HSE knowledge
• Able to work effectively in a fast and ever-changing stressful environment
• Maintain good Quality standards, 5S and safety discipline
• Well verse in Microsoft office (Excel, Words, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Knowledge of drawing software (SolidWorks, Unigraphic, etc) is added advantage

2. Assistant Production Engineer (Electrical)

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with engineering and other departments to improve assembly processes

1. Development

• Design and synthesize new polymers with desired properties for various applications.
• Conduct experiments to understand the relationship between polymer structure and its physical and chemical characteristics.
• Analyse and interpret data from various techniques like spectroscopy, chromatography, and thermal analysis to characterize polymers.

2. Polymer Production and Processing

• Develop and optimize production processes with productivity and cost effectiveness.
• Troubleshooting issues arising during mass production and suggest solutions.
• Collaborate with related department to ensure smooth integration of new polymers into existing production lines.

3. Material Characterization and Testing

• Perform various tests to evaluate the mechanical, thermal, electrical, and other properties of polymers.
• From the test results to make a judgement the suitability of polymers for specific application.
• Proceed with modification to polymer formulation based on performance needs.

4. Communication and collaboration

• Document research findings and experimental procedures in clear and concise report.
• Present research results to colleagues, management, or external audiences.

5. Laboratory Management

• In depth knowledge of polymerization mechanism and kinetics.
• Expertise in polymer characterization evaluation techniques.

Broad Functions:

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Support dept TLs, engineers, and managers by ensuring all equipment are in ready-to-use conditions.
• Repair work for plant equipment.
• Daily hands-on troubling shoot, routine daily maintenance
• Attend all maintenance job requests.
• Respond to urgent breakdown.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment breakdown.
• Support teammates in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Conduct MME validation and calibration.
• Carry out dismantling, installation replacement works for faulty equipment or service equipment.
• Perform stock takes and inventory updates.
• Support TLs and engineers in reporting and managing external contractors.
• Aid TL & engineers.
• Update of daily maintenance report when TL is absent.
• Update routing preventive maintenance report.
• Support engineer to supervise external contractor in servicing or maintenance work.
• Participate in all health and safety initiatives and ensures all measures are adhered to
• Conduct and adhere to the 5S routine daily.
• Involved in Work Improvement Suggestions, Safety near-miss, corrective & improvement works.
• Conduct daily site inspections to spot anomalies.

Requirements:

• Min an ITE NITEC Certificate in Electrical (Electrical) or equivalent
• Min an ITE NITEC certificate in Mechanical (Mechanical) or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of Electrical / Mechanical
• Able to do basic reporting writing.
• Ability to communicate in basic and simple English.
• Ability to do basic root cause analysis.
• Basic MS Office knowledge
• Eligible for consideration for Snr Tech if achieve 80% of the skills list.
• Independent worker without much supervision
• Good team player who can work well with other teammates.
• Positive working attitude
• Willing to learn new things.
• Self-motivated to achieve results without constant prompt.
• Good health status for hands-on and manual work
