The Senior International Product Manager is the marketing champion of the game, contributing to the overall project positioning, marketing and communication strategy and assets. The role has a major emphasis on management, creativity, communication, problem solving and mitigation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Oversee Marketing Deliverables

• Translate the positioning of the communications strategy into communications themes, artistic marketing directions, deliverables plans and initial deliverable production.
• Work with big data to create strategic recommendations for marketing communications.
• Perform competitive analysis & stay up to date with market trends.
• Pilot assigned event executions.
• Manage marketing deliverables plans, accounting for requests from operational teams, press opportunities, production constraints, production and any adjustments to the communications strategy; including trailers, community assets, in-game screenshots, in-game preview videos, in-game assets optimized for marketing use, as well as sales copy, PR-focused Q&As, and FAQs
• Help review & influence press releases and stage-gate presentations.
• Guide the creation of the deliverables with marketing agencies and artists by providing briefs and supervision.
• Approve deliverables to ensure both quality & product accuracy.
• Assess the performance of the deliverables by setting up tests for key deliverables (demo, trailer) and consulting buzz analysis tools for continued improvement.
• Provide feedback to the production team and inform members of upcoming deliverables.
• Participate in the definition of the live marketing strategy with the core development team.

Drive day-to-day Relations with Cross-functional Publishing Teams

• Act as one of the primary points of contact for the product, establishing strategic and technical expertise within assigned products.
• Navigate the internal processes and workflows of a variety of internal systems and teams.

Qualifications

• University or College degree/diploma in Interactive Media, Marketing, or Product Development / Management or MBA.
• Mid level product management in the game industry or in creative agencies.
• Great communication and presentation skills; fluent in English. Able to persuade and influence audiences and stakeholders across multiple functional groups.
• Proven abilities to identify, understand, prioritize, plan and articulate market & customer requirements.
• Strong analytic skills and experience with metrics driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Functional

• Create and optimize particle effects and FX controllers for the world;
• Create and iteratively develop game assets, including geometry, full-screen post effects, and custom shaders (if needed), from conception to final, polished and optimized assets on the target platforms within the game engine.
• Follow concept art, storyboards, written descriptions, and scripts to prototype and implement visual effects in-game.
• Work closely with fellow artists, programmers, animators, game designers and sound designers.
• Work closely with Creative Leadership to create high-quality visual effects.
• Optimize visual effects to ensure we run at acceptable FPS on the target platforms.

Collaboration

• Shows maturity in problem and conflict resolution. Proactively voices out concern to stakeholders with supported justification.

Qualifications

• Mid to senior-level of professional VFX experience in the game or film industry
• Experience in a senior role with a minimum of one shipped game title
• A minimum of 2 shipped titles
• Proficient in creating high-quality VFX using Maya, Houdini, or other equivalent tools
• A creative thinker who feels comfortable experimenting and presenting approaches and solutions that help push the edge of what’s possible with FX
• Experience with a proprietary game engine(s)
• Production experience utilizing particle systems and other forms of dynamic simulations
• Able to balance quality and technical constraints
• Understanding of weight, timing, and animation
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Job Description

As a Senior Technical Artist, you will utilize your hybrid skills to bridge the worlds of the artist and programmer, acting as interpreter, innovator and problem solver. You will collaborate cohesively and efficiently with Directors in the Art, Technical and Production teams to define the pipelines, tools and workflows needed to support and optimize art production. You will be responsible for research, innovation, and the technical guidance to assist the team in delivering the highest technical quality content without compromising on the artistic vision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Define, establish efficient and user-friendly pipelines.
• Provide daily technical support to Art and Tech teams.
• Collaborate with production and external teams to improve and optimize workflows.
• Prepare and update documentation for content pipelines, tools, features and workflows.
• Work alongside programmers to prototype and validate features.
• Act as gatekeeper of budgets, Tech Art constraints and data technical compliance
• Guide and Mentor the team to foster skill growth and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL PROVIDE:

• 5+ years of professional art, technical art, or programming experience.
• An aptitude and drive for innovation, collaboration, decision making and creative problem solving.
• Experience in real-time digital art content creation and artistic workflows
• Proven technical skills in profiling, performance and optimization
• Proficiency in 2D/3D art software (Photoshop, Substance Designer, ZBrush, 3DS Max, Maya, Houdini)
• In-Depth knowledge of game engines (Proprietary, Unreal, Unity)
• Understanding of scripting languages (Python, C#, Max Script)
• Familiarity with bug tracking software (JIRA) and management systems (Perforce)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Content:

Create clear and actionable designs following the project standards;

Large working experience as game designer;
Relevant experience working on AAA titles, current and next-gen consoles (multiplayer and Game as a service preferred);

As a Project Manager, you are the front-line manager, working with a team of production professionals to ensure the delivery of the highest quality games. You facilitate processes, methods, and tools to deliver the game project following the best practices established by the organization

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Project Management

• Support the Associate Producers to coordinate and optimize the work of the production teams, including prioritizing tasks, identifying risks and proposing solutions to keep to the project schedule and budget;
• Synchronize dependencies, work done and risks across the production teams frequently, including with other Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Technical Leads;
• Assist in the development of schedules that translate project goals into action and work to ensure the success of the project;
• Act as a Scrum Master, facilitate sprint planning, conduct daily standup meetings, hold sprint retrospective meetings, hold sprint reviews, and organize Scrum teams;
• Assist the Associate Producers and Project Managers on staff planning and seating plan changes;
• Take meeting notes and communicate them to all relevant parties;
• Propose, implement and facilitate process improvements;
• Conduct expense reporting for the production team;
• Carry out routine daily tasks and procedures of the project;

People Management

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

As a Gameplay Programmer you will ensure the playability of the game (the link between the player’s actions, character’s behaviours, and the consequences on the evolution of the game).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Analyze and understand the game design documents in order to define the required functionalities and the game systems that must be developed in the engine;
• Analyse existing functionalities in the engine and determine if they meet project requirements. If necessary, define how to adapt them in order to better meet game requirements;
• Suggest improvements whenever necessary by designing and implementing new systems or modifying existing systems;
• Collaborate with game designers/level designers/animators so as to discuss the constraints and establish the technical possibilities of the various gameplay functions;
• Determine the conditions that will lead to actions based on commands;
• Implement and optimize the controls and interaction systems so that gameplay is fluid;
• Validate and verify whether the newly developed systems fulfill the intentions of the project and are coherent with the existing code;
• Ensure that the implementation of the controls and game systems provide the player with the experience that the design and/creative director had envisioned;
• Work with people from other crafts in developing the tools required to efficiently make the necessary gameplay adjustments;
• Seek out and correct the gameplay bugs identified by the production and quality control teams.
