We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Lab Teacher to join our faculty and inspire the next generation of scientists.

Job Summary:As a Chemistry Lab Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating and engaging students in the field of chemistry through hands-on laboratory experiences. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting laboratory sessions, ensuring a safe and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:Develop and implement engaging laboratory activities and experiments that align with the chemistry curriculum.
   Create detailed lesson plans, including objectives, materials, and safety protocols.
   
2. Lab Management:Set up and maintain the chemistry laboratory, ensuring all equipment and materials are in working order.
   Organize and manage laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory.
   
3. Instruction and Demonstration:Facilitate laboratory sessions, providing clear instructions to students on experimental procedures.
   Demonstrate proper techniques for handling chemicals, equipment, and safety precautions.
   
4. Safety and Compliance:Enforce laboratory safety rules and guidelines to ensure the well-being of students.
   Teach students about safe laboratory practices and responsible chemical handling.
   
5. Assessment and Evaluation:Assess student performance during laboratory sessions and provide constructive feedback.
   
6. Student Engagement:Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
   Provide guidance and support to students, addressing their questions and concerns.
   
7. Professional Development:Stay updated with advancements in the field of chemistry and educational methodologies.
   Participate in professional development activities and workshops.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field with a teaching certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in teaching chemistry or laboratory instruction is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts, laboratory techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs.

· Educational Qualifications:Candidates should be NIE-trained or possess at least a Degree or Diploma from a recognized education institute.

· Relevant Teaching Experience: While not mandatory, having at least 1 year of relevant teaching experience, whether in tuition centers or MOE schools, will be considered an advantage.
