1. Taking off measurements based on various standard methods of measurements
Pre-contract work (for sub-contractors) including preparation of estimates & tender documents.
2. Proactive in finding possible jobs and tendering with the right price along with right sub-contractors.
3. Need to have wide sub-contractor contact to get quotation at right time before tendering the job.
4. Post-Contract work including the processing of progress payments, variation orders, sub contractor payments, site meeting etc.
5. Evaluation & involve contract related discussions.
6. Negotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for review.
7. Should be able to guide junior QS and strictly adhere to the company policy and confidentiality matters.
