We are looking for an individual to join us as a Manager in Visa Consulting and Analytics, Strategy Practice, based in Singapore. This individual will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for digital payments across Asia Pacific working closely with the Practice Lead, and the country teams. The Manager will be responsible for leading significant components of client consulting engagements, within the digital & strategy vertical. Typically, this will involve the Manager interacting with the client team, gathering and managing project inputs, analyzing data to form conclusions and recommendations, developing and presenting compelling project reports and working with clients on executing recommendations.

The Manager will also manage a pipeline of engagements from early lead stages through to signature, project kick-off and delivery. These engagements will vary greatly in scope and value and, although the pipeline will be driven mainly by traditional bank card issuers, the Consultant range will also encompass merchants, acquirers and processors; government entities; as well as new entrants and non-traditional players in the virtual and physical payments ecosystem.

Usually, 2-4 months in duration and running in parallel, potential projects could include payment strategy review and roadmap design, digital payments wallet assessment and launch, mobile banking App review and enhancement. It would also include driving strategy engagements on client portfolios powered by Visa’s data, collaborating closely with the data science teams on building data driven solutions to drive digitization and growth of payments with clients, development of industry landscape evaluations and best practices.

The Manager will be responsible for identifying potential clients’ business pain-points and areas for strategy and process improvement, thereby defining project scope deliverables and revenue opportunity to sell-in client engagement projects and building new practice solutions.

• The Visa Consulting Manager will deliver consulting support and projects to VISA's key clients across the AP region
• Understand our customers’ business objectives, needs, plans with the AP team in clusters/markets, and bring valuable insights
• Identify opportunities and potential for improvement to help Visa clients in growing their business
• Develop and propose appropriate strategies and business solutions to the clients and manage the delivery of high quality consultancy engagements in the region
• Management of internal and external project team members and gain consensus with others and coordinate team of consultants and subject matter experts around goal
• Support Consulting Team and the broader VCA AP team in achieving the goals across the clusters as well as to support Account Executives in subject expertise areas
• Leverage Visa’s innovation, product and data capabilities to further grow our clients’ business by working together with the sales and product teams as well as the Visa Innovation and Data Sciences team

advising on growth partnership, product strategies, banking experience. This is a Senior Account Manager role in a team of experienced professionals developing, delivering and winning high impact opportunities for Visa. Responsible for a portfolio of regional enterprise clients in Cybersource, your role will be focused on helping these clients to address their payments needs and the evolution of their payments strategy in line with new innovations introduced by Visa and challenges that arise based on market or client specific dynamics that develop.

Potential engagements could include portfolio management diagnostics, cross sell of value added services, authorization optimization strategies, assessments of digital product and marketing programs, alignment and execution of product roadmaps, optimizing client customer servicing processes, deal development and contract negotiation. Key objectives are client retention, revenue growth and improving NPS.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will deliver strategic thought leadership and a consultative approach to service our leading regional acquirer and merchant clients. The incumbent must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.

Specific responsibilities include

• Proactively engaging with portfolio of regional enterprise clients and Visa leadership in regular strategic planning discussions

• Communicate and coordinate required activities with market-based Cybersource colleagues and Merchant Acquiring & Sales colleagues to deliver against commercial, financial and operational objectives

• Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges

• Partner with peers in other functional areas, e.g. Marketing, Sales Operations, Risk & Identity Solutions, Visa Consulting, Merchant Data, etc. and across global teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources

• Produce analysis and generate insights to impel/create call to action that will improve client performance, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across their payments P&L

Team Summary

The Solutions team in Visa Cross Border Solution is responsible for Discovery & Implementation of New customers whilst helping existing clients on upsell/upgrade projects. This means working closely with Business teams to fully understand client requirements, then craft and validate the proposed solutions prior to signing. Once approved, delivering on the agreed solution and managing changes that may occur.

• Ensuring client requirements is captured and a full understanding of the proposed solution / workflow before a client is signed,

• Consulting and guiding prospects and client on how to best use and ingest our products and services into their operational workflows and solutions, tailoring each proposed solution according to the client’s strategic and go-to market plans,

• Troubleshoot issues by developing a deep understanding of how our product works,

• Guiding clients to implement Visa offerings into their system and ensuring changes in workflow are understood internally and externally,

• Advocating for client’s views internally and driving continuous product improvements based on client feedback.

• Enabling Solutions Consultants and New Business peers with product / technical knowledge, providing coaching for junior members of the team on hard and soft skills.

• Contributing to our support documents to ensure they’re clear and accurate, and research and write new content to fill any gaps,

• Keeping abreast of our competition, product development, and changes to the ecosystem.
