We are building a team of skilled, service-focused individuals who are enthusiastic about the F&B and service industry. The Senior Barista will oversee barista operations while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food. The role requires leadership in training baristas and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, organised, and able to contribute positively to our team dynamic. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Leading barista training and development.
- Maintaining high-quality service and preparation consistency.
- Manage inventory levels for coffee beans, pastries, and other essential items, ensuring consistent availability and minimizing wastage.
- Assist the Café Lead in optimizing processes to enhance operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
- Assisting the Café Lead in menu innovation and event execution.
- Prepare and serve coffee, food and other beverages to customers using prescribed recipes.
- Provide good customer service and build good rapport with customers.
- Ensure the café area remains tidy, clean and organized at all times, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
- Adhere to and enforce health, safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of both staff and customers.
- Ensure all equipment stays well maintained.
- Sell and share knowledge with customers in an enlightening manner on various ranges of coffee, drinks and food offerings.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee and tea.
- Experience in leadership and training.
- Available to accommodate work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Fluent in English, customer service focused.
