Responsible for the proper loading and unloading of Company’s products in accordance to the Company’s guidelines, rules and regulations
Perform transportation duties as deployed by the supervisor and carry out the duties diligently as per instructed.
Adhere to schedule of catering delivery orders and collection to island wide places
Coordinate with salesperson on customer’s order before delivery
Ensure the timely delivery of product to each destination, plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Inventory control for catering equipment used for upon collection of order
Maintaining cleanliness and provide basic service for assigned delivery vehicle
Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients customers
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Understanding with and complying with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements
Assist in the management of the day to day operations and other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by Company
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Min 5 years of experience in related industry
Must have a valid class 4 driver's license with clean driving record; Company’s vehicle is not allowed to drive home
Must be able to work long hours, flexibility to work weekends and Public Holidays if required with prolonged period of standing (strictly off day on weekdays)
Required to work in hot and humid working environment
Must have ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (eg. at rush hour)
Field work required. Need to do assist with delivery if off / medical leave or urgency of goods when required
Physicall Fit. Able to withstand loading/unloading of bulky goods for extended period.
Knowledge of GPS equipment; knowledge of DOT regulations, preferred
