How will I help?

You will support the Regulatory Reporting team with focus on accurate, complete and timely computation of MAS regulatory ratios and submission of regulatory returns. You will be required to support the team in ensuring that the Bank is compliant with MAS regulatory reporting requirements and compliment the internal control culture associated with regulatory reporting, while enabling change to technology platforms and business processes.

The role also encompasses:

• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the computation of regulatory ratios and submission of MAS regulatory returns. You must have, and maintain good understanding of the reporting requirements and be able to articulate complex details to non-technical senior stakeholders, team members (on and off-shore), as well as third party vendors where required. Collaboration with all stakeholders is essential for success in this role.
• Effective oversight on MAS regulatory reporting processes: ensure robust controls are in place and aligned with governance and controls framework.
• Accurate, complete and timely submission of MAS regulatory returns, including GL reconciliation, consistency across returns, and variance analysis.
• Management of BAU and finance projects (including system enhancements and new MAS reporting requirements) with the objective of ensuring continuity of compliance to regulatory reporting requirements and enhancement of data quality and process efficiency

What do I need?

This role is suitable for qualified accountants; or someone with proven record in MAS regulatory reporting and strong academic record/an academic degree from a well-recognized institution. You will likely have:

• Strong analytical and data management skills;
• Finance related work experience in banking sector;
• Experience in MAS regulatory reporting activities in financial industry;
• Strong working knowledge of the suite of MAS regulatory reporting returns, requirements, co-dependencies and inter-relatedness;
• Ability to lead and drive change initiatives with a structured and focused approach; and
• Effective team and stakeholder management skills and experience in an international environment

How will I help?

Your responsibilities centre on leading the Singapore HR Team on delivering the HR strategy.

You will provide strategic expertise to senior leaders predominantly around people initiatives such as employee engagement, culture and identification of a talent, remuneration and retention strategy, employment policies, employee relations, learning and development as well as diversity and inclusion.

This role works in partnership and as part of the International HR team, where you will be expected to lean in and support across jurisdictions, leveraging expertise and new ways of working.

What are my key areas of focus?

• Provide proactive HR support and counsel to the Singapore branch on local policy advice as well as ensuring a regular review and maintenance of employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with the business to support talent attraction and selection, including a clearly articulated and realistic value proposition.
• Manage and oversee HR Reporting and operations; including review and approval of local payroll, annual taxation reporting, timely completion of government, and regulatory information requests.
• Manage and oversee employee relations matters, processes, investigations, and organisational change in partnership with the Australian Stakeholders (where required).
• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives and role model Westpac’s purpose, values, and behaviours.
• Provide guidance to business leaders on Westpac’s performance management approach (Motivate).
• Support and advise on diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives and maintain continual focus on the Group’s D&I priorities.
• Work closely with Global Mobility CoE to support assignments to and from Singapore including immigration and tax considerations for new and current assignees/sponsored employees.
• Provide proactive risk management initiatives ensuring adequate regulatory and risk controls are in place for the HR team.
• Oversee the co-ordination of the Annual Individual Accountability and Conduct annual attestation process.
• In partnership with CoE, support the annual remuneration review process and provide advice to business leaders on remuneration decisions.
• Review and implement process improvements to create efficiencies and improve service.
• Development and coaching of HR Operations, business partnering and talent acquisition team members.

What will I need?

• Financial Services knowledge and background – a good understanding of the regulatory environments, staying abreast of any changes and the implications for HR and the business.
• Relevant experience in HR leadership roles including HR Operations
• Degree and CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with relevant HR advisory experience.
• Proven ability in achieving business and talent outcomes through leadership and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated agility in thinking and acting across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience in project and change management.
• Understanding and applying decision making and judgement
• Business and commercial acumen
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management
• Experience working in an Australian Financial Services Firm/Bank is preferred

Role Title: Senior Infrastructure Technical Lead (12 months contract)

Role location: Singapore Based

How will I help?

As the Senior Infrastructure Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the monitoring, investigation and resolution of live service issues including day-to-day networking tasks across the Westpac Asia Network.

You will also be responsible for:

• Daily operations of technology infrastructure
• Successfully identifying and resolving complex issues in a timely manner working with 3rd Party vendors when required.
• Proactively examining the network and providing recommendations to enhance as part of BAU
• Updating Network Documentation
• Operational Acceptance of Network projects upon completion
• Accountable for designing, planning and implementing various infrastructure solutions for Asia
• Ensure that as the technology footprint increases in Asia, the tools and procedures for environment remains stable, controls in place and efficient.
• Monitoring Systems Health and proactive problem resolution
• Training of Junior members of staff.
• Complying with rigid Change and Incident management procedures

Technical skills:

• 10 years+ Networking experience. Have advanced knowledge of Juniper SRX, SSG & Checkpoint Firewalls.
• Cisco routing and switching platforms: Nexus 5K, 2K, Cisco 4500, 3850, 29xx, F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM, APN, iRules)
• Knowledge of various Network Protocols and Technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRFs)
• Experience in designing infrastructure to meet the performance requirements of the application based on the data collected from the legacy system and model for the future grow.
• Familiar with ITIL/change management processes

Desirable skills

• Ability to quickly learn existing complex systems infrastructure
• Knowledge of Avaya IPO, IPC Unigy Platforms
• Problem Solving: Finding relevant information and identifying key issues and relationships from a base of information; relating and comparing data from different sources; identifying cause-effect relationships.
