Roles & Responsibilities:

• System Implementation & Configuration: Assist in the installation and configuration of PCs, workstations, operating systems, applications, and related peripheral devices to support project teams.
• Critical On-Site IT Support: Provide first-level on-site IT support  on a rotational shift, including public holidays (7 am to 3 pm / 3 pm to 11 pm), ensuring operational uptime of essential systems.
• Troubleshooting & Escalation: Investigate and resolve issues, providing timely updates to the Project Manager on major escalations.
• Proactive System Monitoring: Perform daily health checks and inventory assessments to prevent downtime and ensure all systems and devices are fully operational.
• Technical Support Expertise: Utilize your hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, peripherals, and applications in a Windows environment.

As a IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following :-

• Assist the project teams with setting up, installing, and configuring operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices for PCs/Workstations.
• Provide first level on-site IT support to end-users on a 24x7 rotational shift, including weekends and holidays.
• The successful applicants should be prepared to be deployed primarily at Woodlands Checkpoint. The successful applicant could be deployed to Tuas checkpoint in future on a rotational basis.
• Provide findings and timely status update to the Project Manager on major issues escalated by users.
• Perform daily health check and inventory check on system.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC/peripheral devices and providing application maintenance support is necessary.
• Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows (Windows clients) environment is required.

• Having prior exposure to IT operational environments is advantageous.
• A strong Team player with the ability to collaborate and willingness to support one another.
• Communicates well and has good interpersonal skills.

Our Client is a Multinational Information Technology and Electronic company. With their expansion plan, they are looking for IT Support Engineers.

The Role:

• Support the project teams in the implementation, installation and configuration of PCs / Workstations O.S., applications and related peripheral devices.
• Provide 1st level on-site IT support to the end-users on 8 hours shift including Public Holidays.
• Provide findings and timely status update to the Project Manager on major issues escalated by users.
• Perform daily health check and inventory check on system.
• The Support Engineer will report to the Project Manager.
• Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting of PC / peripheral devices and application maintenance support will be required.
• Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows (Windows clients) environment is required

• Shiftwork (Monday - Sunday):
• Day shift: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Night shift: 3 pm - 11 p.m.
