Company Description: We are a furniture importer and distributor with our own line of products. Our main products are household furniture including wardrobes, side cabinets, desks, executive chairs and more. We mainly service furniture retailers as well as their customers who are end users. We are an employee-centric company with an inclusive environment and flexible work arrangements. Our biggest asset is the teamwork of our staff! We welcome anyone with the applicable skillsets to apply, regardless of qualifications.
1. Loading/unloading of products
2. Arrangement of own delivery route for assigned jobs
3. Driving and be responsible for vehicle (14 footer lorry) under charge
4. Take care of own safety and that of delivery assistant on the road and during work
5. Calling clients when necessary to facilitate smooth delivery
6. Delivery of products to client specified location on address
7. Last step assembly for partially manufactured large furniture (such as wardrobes/cabinets)
8. Ensure good service is provided to customers via clear and polite communications, deliver the products in good conditions and taking efforts to protect the premise of delivery to make sure to prevent damages to clients’ property.
9. Vehicle can be driven back to heavy vehicle parking grounds near home (optional)
10. Able to handle carpentry machinery. (bonus/optional skills)
11. Carpentry skills would be a bonus. (bonus/optional skills)
12. Forklift license would be a bonus. (bonus/optional skills)
*No carpentry or furniture assembly experience required. Training will be provided. Candidate will be paired with a delivery assistant with complimentary skills to enable smooth delivery.
