About the Role:
XPS Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled AV Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and delivering top-quality audiovisual support for events, staff, and students. Responsibilities
Event Support
- Set up, operate, and maintain professional AV equipment.
- Provide technical support in lighting, audio, video, and stage management for various events.
- Ensure optimal sound quality for live audiences and recordings.
- Operate video equipment for live streaming, recording, and visual displays, ensuring alignment with event objectives.
- Manage physical stage setups, ensuring safety and seamless transitions between event segments.
Support for Staff and Students
- Assist with setting up AV equipment for meetings, lessons, and other activities.
- Provide video recording support and supervision for events and lessons.
- Conduct AV training sessions for staff and students to enhance user capabilities.
Planning and Procurement
- Collaborate with the client’s ICT department to address AV challenges and propose solutions.
- Support procurement processes for AV solutions, gathering requirements, coordinating demonstrations, and liaising with vendors.
Resource Management
- Assist in managing AV resources efficiently.
- Perform annual maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct basic repairs of AV hardware.
Media Post-Production
- Edit video footage with titles, subtitles, graphics, and animations.
- Enhance sound quality, add audio effects, and create multimedia content.
Other Duties
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational objectives.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the setup and management of professional AV systems.
- Desired additional experience in:
- Video systems management (1+ years).
- Multimedia content editing (1+ years).
Qualifications:
- At least one qualification in professional lighting systems, audio systems, video systems, or multimedia content editing is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm (including a 1-hour lunch break).
- Friday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (including a 1-hour lunch break).
- Weekends and public holidays off.
- Off-in-lieu compensation for work beyond regular hours.
