Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Semiconductor Engineer to join our Tool Installation team. This position is ideal for recent graduates with a strong foundation in semiconductor technology, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting semiconductor tools used in the production of advanced semiconductor devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tool Installation & Commissioning: Support the installation and setup of semiconductor manufacturing tools and equipment, ensuring they meet operational standards and specifications.
- Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical support for tool-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems efficiently.
- Maintenance & Calibration: Assist in the regular maintenance and calibration of tools, ensuring they operate at optimal performance levels.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, modifications, maintenance, and performance data for tools and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field.
- Certification: Must have an Engineer certification (e.g., EIT or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes and tools is a plus. Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to document work processes clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Team Player: Ability to work in a team environment and follow detailed instructions while taking initiative when needed.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that installations and processes are carried out according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience related to semiconductor tool installation or maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and semiconductor manufacturing equipment is desirable but not required.
