Job Description:

• To assist the Project Engineer for the execution of contracts progress.
• To co-ordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of work schedule.
• To monitor and carry out quality check on progressive completed work and make recommendation for effective project management.
• To assist in the preparation, checking and submission of shop drawings.
• To assist Project Engineer on all other project administrative matters.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferable with minimum 2 years of working experience in M&E or construction industry.
• Possess relevant safety certificates is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight project schedules.
• Willing to travel & based at the project site.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To assist in loading and unloading of materials.
• Perform transportation duties as deployed by supervisor and carry out the duties diligently as per instructed.
• Collect and deliver construction materials to site.
• Responsible for daily routine checks and maintain the general cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Candidate must possess a valid CLASS 4 DRIVING LICENCE.
• Good interpersonal skill, hardworking and positive attitude.
• Able to work overtime.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter with a strong background in mechanical drafting to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), Chilled Water Systems, and Plumbing and Sanitary piping work. The Drafter will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing technical drawings and plans using BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. The role involves close collaboration with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify technical drawings for ACMV, Chilled Water Systems, and Plumbing and Sanitary piping work.
• Utilize BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) to create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct reviews and revisions of designs as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure cohesive project outcomes.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure version control on all technical documents.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of ACMV, Chilled Water Systems, and Plumbing and Sanitary piping work.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant drafting experience in a mechanical setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in piping and mechanical drafting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with construction and project coordination in a mechanical engineering context.

• Responsible for coordinating and supervision of installation, testing and inspection of piping support and all kinds of mechanical equipment.
• Ability to carry out Mechanical, Piping installation etc.
• Carry out troubleshooting, commissioning and repair work.
• Responsible for Planning, Execution and Supervision of work.
• Supervising and managing the site construction activities carried out by subcontractors and to ensure timely completion of the work such as mechanical coating, fulfilling all quality and safety aspects and targets.
• Responsibilities also include work permit administering.
• Ensure that all site activities adhere to legal regulations, including Environmental regulations, WSH Act
• Client/vendor coordination, and necessary documents preparation, e.g. plan and procedures like arranging site set-up and obtaining clients' approval and preparation of job hazard assessment.

Skill Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ relevant working experience.
• Familiar with the local authority requirements.
• Strong in supervision of construction activities in oil & gas plant production/process plant.
• Good knowledge in construction safety and permit to work procedures including quality issues.
• Good knowledge in reading and interpretation of Mechanical drawings.
• Able to perform Engineering analysis and Engineering data accumulation will be an advantage.

• Assist in TQP Quality Management System to ensure quality control
• Analyze Consultant drawings and specifications
• Prepare QA/QC Plans, formulate QC checklists, inspection and procedures
• Coordinate with client for material standards and method statement relating matters
• Assist in establishment of document control system
• Monitor and schedule the Quality Control Activities
• Ensure the proper implementation of the programmes for internal audits
• Must be able to build a good rapport between the subcontractors, and project teams
• Support the project activities within the construction site
• Support ISO certification

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Familiarity with statistical analysis
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Team spirit
• Good analytical skills
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field
