Part-Time Promoter (Sampling Activation) in Supermarkets wanted!

Availability: Prefer candidates who can work every Friday to Sunday as long-term promoters. Time is from 10am-7pm (1 hour break).

Training Requirement: Attend mandatory training prior to the first sampling activation at Block 14 Wholesale Centre, #01-25, Singapore 110014.

Salary: Starting from $100/day, depending on relevant promoter job experience.

Job Scope

• Distribute product samples to customers in the supermarket.
• Interact with customers, answer basic questions, and provide product information.
• Educate customers about the brand’s unique selling points and benefits to increase interest.
• Prepare and organize the sampling booth, and ensure cleanliness at the end of the shift.
• Monitor and manage sample stock, and report on inventory levels.
• Track and report sales data at the end of each shift.
• Collect customer feedback and note common questions or concerns.
• Provide feedback on daily activities and outcomes to supervisor.

• Check and arrange product display on shelves.
• Ensure all product shelving is clean and free of dust.
• Regularly check products for expiration dates and remove any expired items.
• Arrange products according to seasonal or festive themes.
• Set up displays for new product launches or special promotions.
• Verify that all products have correct price tags.
• Adjust price tags promptly when changes are made.
• Monitor stock levels on shelves.
• Inform relevant team members when stock replenishment is needed.
• Report any damaged or defective products.

• In charge of merchandizer itinerary, visit assigned supermarkets and hypermarkets according to fixed schedules
• Place orders based on replenishment and plan in-store promotion
• Ensure regular replenishment of stocks and monitor stock inventory level
• Ensure products are sold on first-in-first-out (FIFO) basis
• Provide constant updates to customers of the latest range of products
• Negotiate for good display area and more spaces within outlets
• Implement FIFO to ensure product freshness and check on expired stocks regularly to minimize trade returns
