Roles & Responsibilities:
your primary responsibility is to assist the project manager and lead the team in completing project objectives and ensuring progress. You will be responsible for the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) management and reception of rebar materials on site, along with meticulous record-keeping of essential data.
Your core duties include:
1. Daily Meetings: Attend daily toolbox meetings and workers briefings to ensure team alignment and understanding of project goals.
2. Material Management: Assist in managing the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and oversee the reception of reinforcement materials sent to the site.
3. Drawing Familiarity: Possess a strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings to guide the team effectively.
4. Project Implementation: Communicate and implement the project manager's objectives to guarantee work progress, quality, and safety, meeting customer requirements.
5. Skill Demonstration: Provide hands-on training by personally demonstrating how to erect stirrups, install, and bind rebar to team members.
6. Quality Control: Check the size, quantity, and spacing of steel bars, ensuring completed rebars meet consultant's specifications and PE Design Requirements.
7. Inspection and Rectification: Work closely with RE or RTO on site to conduct inspections, rectify defects, and oversee handover to the concrete supervisor for casting.
8. Efficiency Targets: Achieve efficiency targets set by the company and site Project Manager, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
9. Reporting: Daily reporting of progress, quality, safety, and efficiency to the project manager before the end of the workday.
Job Specifications:
- Certification: Hold a valid BCSS certificate, demonstrating proficiency in steel bar skills through the BCA test.
- Technical Proficiency: Able to read, understand, and execute work based on construction drawings, possessing basic drawing recognition skills. Proficient in reading material lists and BBS drawings.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to facilitate effective team coordination.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in rebar supervision and construction projects.
