HEAD OF DESIGN (EVENT)
Company background: One of Singapore's established event management company specializing in conceptualisation, production and management of small to large-scale events, conferences and exhibitions.
Location: Central (Bukit Merah)
Working Hours: 5 Days Work Week, Mon to Fri (10am to 6.30pm)

Job Responsibilities:
- Drive innovative design concepts and themes for luxury and lifestyle events and exhibitions
- Design and produce creative 3D renderings, highly detailed layout plans, elevation drawings and technical drawings
- Lead and inspire a team of designers and oversee the design workflow for events and branded exhibitions (3D renderings, layouts, technical drawings and shop drawings)
- Projects allocation for the design team to ensure efficient turnaround
- Work closely with account servicing team and production team in ensuring design aligns with client’s requirements, and ensuring budget alignment for designs
- Communicate closely with vendors and contractors
- Attend site visits and inspections to assess venue requirements and develop spatial layouts and designs that optimize the attendee experience
- Able to manage personal workload, delegate tasks to design team effectively, prioritize team workloads, and oversee project timeline to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables
- Managing workflow with external freelancers when specialized skills or additional resources are needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Exhibition Design, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in lifestyle, luxury, fashion, or experiential event design
- Advanced skills in spatial planning, 3D modelling, and visualization, with expertise in photorealistic rendering techniques
- Proven track record in leading and managing creative teams; strong leadership and mentorship abilities
- Good understanding of clients’ brand strategy and design alignment for luxury and lifestyle brands
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud software, SketchUp, and AutoCAD
