Commercial Accounts team prepares full set of accounts for normal companies clients who are in the Shipping, crypto, IT consultancy, management service consulting industry.

Job Description:

• Coaching, guiding and review Executive & Assistant’s work
• Handle full sets of accounts for clients.
• Provide professional client service and ensure reporting timelines are met.
• Setup charts of accounts for new accounting clients
• Record receipts and payments in accounting software
• Prepare month-end payments and online banking transactions.
• Responsible for month-end closing process and preparation of monthly financial report for management purposes.
• Prepare GST report and filing.
• Update cashflow report
• Audit liaison and drafting of financial statements.
• Preparation of XBRL submission
• Compute monthly payroll and year-end remuneration returns (e.g. Form IR8A)
• Liaise with banks for the opening and closing of clients’ bank accounts.
• Other related accounting assignments

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in handling full set of accounts preferred.
• Must possess experience in managing multiple entities’ full sets of accounts & consolidation / prior
work experience in professional firms.
• Candidates who are currently studying / attained Accounting Professional Certificate (ACCA, CPA are
advantageous)
• Able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
• Self-motivated and serious work attitude
• Detailed and customer-service oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment activities such as posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews and preparation of employment agreement
• Responsible for new hires onboarding and offboarding of separation staff
• Execute performance management process, administer benefits and compensation packages and insurance policy
• Responsible for sourcing and implementation of training programs that meet staff developmental needs
• Coordinate payroll processes to ensure accuracy in monthly pay processing
• Handle work passes and statutory surveys
• Schedule and coordinate meetings for senior executives, prepare presentation materials or logistics arrangement
• Make travel arrangement such as booking of flights, accommodations, ground transportation and visa application
• Manage expense reports and claims matters
• Oversee general office operations to maintain clean and efficient work environment, maintain office supplies and timely servicing of office equipment

Job Requirements:

• Professional qualification with prior experience in HR and office administration or secretarial support
• Familiar with labour regulations, related compliance and HR management practices
