Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and management reports within stipulated deadline.
• Execute effective and efficient accounts payable, general ledger, petty cash reimbursement and fixed asset management.
• Preparation of cash flow analysis and projection.
• Preparation of GST reporting & income tax filing.
• Dealing with and reconcile inter-company transactions and balances.
• Prepare, check, verify and process invoices, delivery orders and payments, updating of cash book.
• Monthly creditors' statement reconciliation.
• Monitoring of daily bank balance and monthly bank reconciliation.
• Responsible for handling and processing the billing to customers and ensure that all billings are correctly invoiced, recorded and payments are received timely.
• Preparation of audit schedules.
• Liaise with external parties e.g. banks, auditors, customers, suppliers, statutory bodies to solve any issue.
• Ensure payments are made timely, with proper approval and in accordance with required supporting documents.
• Liaise with various departments to resolve issue on closing monthly accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile financial statements.
• Assist to review internal control to ensure work are done properly and effectively.
• Assist to review, troubleshoot and recommend enhancements to existing workflow and financial accounting system.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy, equivalent or above
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience especially in Construction industry
• Preferably experienced in handling full set account and some audit experiences will be an added advantage.
• Preferably experienced in Globe3 ERP system
• Pro-active, hardworking, organized, posses self-discipline
• Willing to learn, independent & meticulous
• Able to handle stress, tight deadlines and multi-tasking
• A good team player
• Strong communication (written and verbal skill) and computer skill

Our client is a global manufacturer. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a FP&A Accountant to be part of their FP&A team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the North Area - easily accessible.

Responsibility:

• Coordinate the preparation, compilation, and analysis of the Annual Budget prior to its submission to the corporate office.
• Analyze financial variances and take a proactive approach by conducting meetings with operations departments to review and discuss monthly forecast performance.
• Synthesize complex data from various sources and transform it into comprehensive management reports.
• Scrutinize a wide range of records and engage with various departments to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Oversee SOX compliance and address internal and external audit queries.
• Enhance processes and actively participate in ad-hoc LEAN projects.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Finance / Accountancy or any related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in FP&A and SOX
• Experience in manufacturing industry is a bonus
