2. Assist to perform group and entities’ monthly closing into HQ Chinese Reporting system and ad-hoc accounting reports.

3. Assist to meet the Group Chinese Reporting requirements and deadlines.

6. Assist to complete the minor reports required by HQ China.

Treasury Matters:

1. Assist the Group Corporate Treasury functions on daily basis.

2. Preparation of Group monthly Treasury report and HQ Chinese Reporting treasury report.

3. Preparation of weekly cash balance report.

4. Preparation of monthly cashflow forecast for the Group and Entities.

5. Assist Treasury System (Si Ku) matters as and when necessary.

6. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

2. Able to read and write report in Chinese for reporting to HQ is a must.

3. Possessing financial audit experience in an audit firm is an advantage.

4. Experience in treasury and reporting function is an advantage.

5. Analytical skills in the development of data-driven reports are a plus.

6. Demonstrate ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.

• Preparation of weekly cash flow forecast and backlog report

Work Location: Tuas Crescent

This is a position in PaxOcean Singapore Finance office, with key responsibilities in AR and revenue recognition to ensure:

• Billings are done promptly and with the correct GST rate being applied
• Accuracy in the revenue recognition of the projects
• Regular review of projects with the team

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Review tax invoices prepared by Commercial to ensure accuracy and correct GST rate being applied
• Prepare miscellaneous tax invoices
• Ensure timeliness in the collection of AR including sending SOA to customers, liaising with commercial to follow up payment, requesting COR in the tax portal, etc
• Assist in reviewing of customer credit limit requests and maintaining customer records in SAP
• Handle daily cash management
• Responsible for monthly import and export GST declaration
• Perform month-end closing activities such as bank reconciliations, revaluation, month-end reports, journals, and audit schedules
• Review the project status to ensure that revenue recognition is accounted for accurately before month end closing.
• Prepare and present monthly project schedules and AR reports
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like auditors, government authorities when required
• Work with cross-functional teams (i.e., Commercial, Purchasing, IT and HR) to resolve issues if any
• Other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned such as WHT-related matter, improvements in project review and analysis etc

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
• Experience in operation finance will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in AR preferred
• Experience in SAP preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Power Point.
