We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong passion in the gaming industry to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing financial operations across Singapore and overseas entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group standards. You will contribute to financial reporting, system optimization, and collaborate with internal teams to support informed decision-making and process improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Establish and maintain accounting standards for Singapore and overseas entities in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Oversee full-spectrum accounting operations, including general ledger preparation, consolidation reports, and statutory filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both local and group requirements.
System Integration and Process Optimization
- Assist in the integration of company accounts into the headquarters' accounting framework.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and develop financial systems tailored to overseas operations.
- Continuously optimize financial processes and regulations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance and Coordination
- Manage local and overseas financial operations, including tax declarations and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a liaison to ensure financial practices meet regulatory standards across jurisdictions.
Strategic Financial Support
- Work closely with project teams to understand financial needs and provide data-driven support for analysis and decision-making.
- Contribute to strategic planning and provide insights for business development through financial expertise.
Ad-Hoc Assignments
- Handle additional duties or tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, prior experience in the gaming or technology industry is highly advantageous.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including experience in a professional firm and in-house finance.
- Proficiency in financial tools and software, including Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI tools, SQL, and VBA is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
