As part of Armstrong Group transformation journey, you will assist Group Finance Manager in the areas of:
1. Revamping the Group consolidation reporting.
2. Revamping the OBUs’ financial reporting packages.
3. Improving the Group’s and OBUs financial reporting calendar.
4. Implementation of new consolidation system.
5. Any adhoc tasks or projects as required.
Responsibilities
1. Revamping the Group consolidation reporting
• Assist in revamping consolidation reporting template to ensure alignment with audited financial statements disclosure and reporting requirements.
2. Revamping the OBUs’ financial reporting packages
• Assist in revamping the monthly financial reporting package submitted by OBUs to the Group to ensure alignment with consolidation template.
• Work closely with country finance managers to facilitate the achievement of this objective.
• Ensure that subsidiaries comply with Group policies and procedures, and local regulations in the areas of accounting and audit.
3. Improving the Group’s and OBUs’ financial reporting calendar
• Work closely with country finance managers to fine-tune the financial reporting calendar into a more comprehensive and systematic reporting requirements with corresponding timelines for adherence by the OBUs.
4. Implementation of new consolidation system
• Assist in implementation and rolling out of new consolidation system Cognos.
5. Others
• Any adhoc tasks or projects as required.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance related roles, of which minimum 3 years of consolidation preparation
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Experience in project management particularly in new consolidation system Cognos
• Good knowledge in financial reporting standards
• Meticulous and fine eye for details
• Good command of English language, able to read and converse in Mandarin with our China colleagues and the general ability to communicate clearly is essential
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
