Scope:

• Responsible for monthly closing activities for local accounts including preparing, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of journal entries and timely preparation of the financial reports;
• Review of accounts prepared by overseas appointed agency
• Review and handle GST submission;
• Liaise with external auditor for statutory audit;
• Prepare audit schedules and handling audit issues (if any);
• Provide information to tax agent for tax filling of annual returns and tax enquiries;
• Liaise with corporate secretary for preparing annual returns, resolutions and other corporate secretarial matters;
• Liaise with bank on operational issues and lawyer on legal matters;
• Reviewing legal documents and agreements in aspect of finance;
• Insertion of financial numbers onto format audited financial statements given by auditors;
• Daily operational accounting and finance activities;
• Mentoring, and supervising subordinates (if any);
• Liaise with Joint Venture’s partners on administrative issues (if any), management account, agreement and others.
• Ensure processes/controls in place for internal audit
• Ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy with 4-5 years of relevant full sets accounts experiences
• Meticulous and detailed
