Purpose of Role

Working as a key member of the Actis Real Estate team and based in Singapore, this person will support the team on Actis South East Asia investments. The candidate will be working on screening of new investment ideas / strategies, and preliminary / final investment reviews of prospective investment opportunities for the fund. The candidate will also meet and engage actively with project developers, project partners, financial institutions and consultants on matters related to the financial performance of projects and investments as well as assisting a deal leader in all aspects of transaction origination, diligence, execution and asset management. Trade Accoutant - Commodities Trading

Budget: 10k-14k base

Responsibilities:

• Monthly and quarterly closing of financial and management accounts to ensure accuracy
• Compile PnL and MTM reports
• Provide variance analysis to senior management
• Involved in GST process and audit processes
• Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure robust accounting controls and recommend policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in FIs or Trading houses
• Previous experience in an audit firm
• Knowledge in ETRM eg Allegro, Enuit
