Accounts Assistant

Job Description

• AP functions - Manage payment processing of vendor invoices and prepare payment.
• Prepare expenses and staff claims.
• AR functions - Post receipts to system, send monthly SOA to customers and follow up with outstanding payment.
• Reconciliation of overseas PO, invoice and SOA.
• Maintain up to date records and well organize documents.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirement

• O/A Levels/Diploma with basic accounting knowledge.
• Able to read and write in Chinese to liaise with overseas counterparts.
• Knowledge of NAVISION software will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Responsible, able to mutli-task and well-organize.
• Good command of English, good interpersonal skills and an eye for detail.

Job Scope & Responsibilities

- Oversee financial planning and business performance analysis by handling full set of accounts and ensure timely closing

- You will ensure the accuracy of financial statements and adhere to corporate reporting timetables such as preparing quarterly GST submission and Corporate Tax submission & liaising with external auditor

- To ensure compliance with established financial processes, local compliance requirements, financial reporting policies and ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.

- You must possess the knowledge to evaluate the company's P&L and will be responsible to plan for the implementation of finance strategies.

- Provide management reports monthly & yearly & Audit Schedule to Director and perform any other duties as assigned by the management

Requirements

- Possess a degree in accounting, finance or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

- Prior experience from the F&B industry is an advantage.

- Have a strong understanding in inventory management and costing.

- Possess strong communication, presentation skills & positive working attitude

- Software skills: MS Office, ERP software such as TALLY & SAP preferably

Responsibilities :
Accounting (70%) and Administration (30%): Perform tasks in both areas as outlined below.

• Maintain internal databases
• Submit expense reports
• Input accounting system (SAP)
• Preparation and submission of payment application and other bank documents (including KYC) by manually and E-banking system
• Prepare regular reports and presentation material for stake holder
• Organize, store and print company documents as needed
• Handle queries from managers and employees
• Above responsibilities for subsidiaries and affiliate company

Requirements :

• Min 5 years of partial set of accounts experience, specifically in Accounts Payable (handling payments) and GL (reconciliation/schedules), will also be considered
• Proficiency in reading and writing English and Japanese to accurately perform data input tasks in the e-banking system and liaise with Japan stake holder.
• Minimum Diploma in accounting
