• Process invoices, payment requests and reimbursement claims accurately within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance to internal procedures and compliance with tax regulations.
• follow up actively with the relevant parties to resolve problematic invoices, including sending periodic reminders to vendors to act on disputed invoices.
• Liaise with vendors and users to facilitate prompt processing of invoices including those under Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA).
• Accrue unprocessed invoices, payment request and reimbursement claims at month-end to meet month-end closing schedule provided by institution.
• Prepare and submit/post journals for reclassification and adjustments, recurring transactions within institutions’ timeline.
• Train and guide junior staff and assist in resolving difficulties encountered by them.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Title: Project Assistant (Banking)

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and provide insights on specialized Payment functions including SWIFT and payment messages such as PACS008/009, MT103/202/900/910 & CAMT series.
2. Support the Project Manager with administrative and logistical tasks.
3. Collaborate closely with the Project team to ensure on-time project delivery.
4. Track project progress and monitor work plan execution.
5. Schedule relevant project meetings, record minutes, and prepare Meeting Minutes (MoM).
6. Contribute to articulating business case scenarios and assist in project development and scoping.
7. Coordinate with surrounding project team members to achieve project objectives.
8. Assist in different testing cycles, analyze results, and report observations to the Project Manager.
9. Ensure all project work adheres to defined standards and procedures.
10. Create project-related documentation and participate in project-related walkthroughs.
11. Prepare project-related reports as needed.
12. Identify and communicate risks and issues impacting the project to the Project Manager.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Business/Finance or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in Payments/Remittances/Telegraphic Transfer Operations is required.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Assistant role.
4. In-depth and hands-on knowledge of SWIFT, Payment Messages like PACS008/009, MT103/202/900/910 & CAMT series.
