Responsibilities

• Assist in daily AR (20%) and AP(80%) functions
• Assist in data entry of cash/cheque receipts and supplier invoices in accounting system
• Preparation of payment to suppliers and customers
• Handle AR/AP reconciliation
• Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the management if any

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in
  Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent with at least 2 Years) of working experience in the related field

• Responsible for full spectrum of Accounting function, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare month end closing by producing monthly management report on monthly basis
• Prepare year end closing for mandatory yearly compilation of accounts
• Manage fixed assets register, maintain fixed assets schedules and bank reconcilation of fixed assets
• Perform general ledgers and general clerical, accounting, contra and bookkeeping support functions
• Maintain balance sheet schedule such as prepayment, accruals, depreciation, disposal of assets, provision of doubtful debts, deposit, related parties' transaction, provision for taxation, director accounts
• Prepare and filing GST return on a quaterly basis
• To handle/ take charge/ apply government grant such as SPRING grant, CDG grant, PIC application etc.
• To liaise and maintain a good business relationship with external auditor, corporate tax agents, corporate secretary, banker, customer, supplier, authority
• To oversees job done by accounts assistant, to guide and to lead accounts assistant
• To handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management team personnel

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounts Executive duties and responsibilities are as follows:

· Handle full set of accounts for monthly closing which includes :-

• Raise invoices
• Raise journals
• Input of invoices and payment of invoices
• Preparation of suppliers’ payment
• Cash book maintenance
• Cash flow projection
• Monthly Management Reports
• GST preparation and submission
• Tax preparation and submission
• Preparation and sending out the monthly Statement of Accounts to customers

· Quarterly, half yearly and year-end financial closing.

· Preparation of Financial Statements for year-end closing

· Preparation of Audit Schedules

· XBRL preparation and submission of Financial Statements

· Assist in internal and external audit

· Assist in tax and GST queries

· Ensure compliances of Accounting standards and regulations

· Other duties as assigned by Departmental Manager.

• Perform full spectrum of accounts receivable
• Responsible for timely and accurate billing of invoices, debit/credit note, etc.

• Diploma in Accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
