• Handle monthly, quarterly and year end closing activities covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation
• Prepare monthly journals and supporting schedule in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform monthly and quarterly analysis for management reporting
• Ensure day-to-day transactional accounting, cashflow management and financial reporting are executed in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist in GST submission, filing activities and overall tax compliance
• Liaise with external auditors
• Ensure internal control policies and procedures are in compliance with Company policies and FRS.
• Identify areas to be improved and initiate good accounting control procedures and best practices to improve work efficiency.
• Additional ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years working experience in handling transactions accounting, financial controls, and reporting
• Possess minimally Diploma in Accountancy or Finance
• Proficient in Excel is a must
• Background in fast-paced retail environment is a plus.
• Besides being part of a team player, the person should be organized, process orientated and meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Proficiency in MYOB will be an added advantage
• At least 2 years’ work experience in AR function would be an added advantage
