Job Requirements:

• Proficient in ERP systems and office software. Good communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with international trade terms and logistics policies, particularly use-case for battery transport, is advantageous.
• Bilingual in both Mandarin and English to liaise with Durapower-Suzhou colleagues

Job Summary: The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the organization’s needs. You will be handling procurement for both Singapore and Germany entity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Sourcing & Management:

• Identify and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, including prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

2. Procurement Planning & Strategy:

• Collaborate with departments to determine procurement needs and develop a strategic plan.
• Forecast demand and ensure stock levels meet organizational requirements.
• Prepare and monitor procurement budgets to ensure cost efficiency.

3. Purchase Order Management:

• Prepare and process purchase orders for goods and services.
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of products or services.
• Manage vendor invoices and ensure accurate processing and payment.

4. Market Research & Cost Control:

• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and market trends.
• Monitor and analyze market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.

5. Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to procurement activities, including supplier performance.

6. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Finance, Logistics, and Operations) to align procurement with company needs.
• Train and supervise procurement assistants and junior team members.

Qualification & Experience:

Degree, Diploma or equivalent Min 2 years’ experience. Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with peers. Detail-oriented, adept at multitasking and managing priorities to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the Goods Receiving Officer role in New Finance System (NFS). This includes processing payments for Purchase Order (PO) items
• Coordinate and raise service requests for procurement
• Manage and monitor POs (incl. raising and closing POs) for the Financial Year (FY)
• Collect monthly carpark charges from officers
• Facilitate monthly routine checks (i.e., check payroll and claims reports and carpark charges report)
• Process telecommuting subsidies to new officers
• Raise journals to process refunds or reimbursements

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant finance operations experience
• Knowledge of Government financial systems (i.e., NFS and GeBiz) will be an advantage
