The Raffles Service Executive delivers friendly and professional service that meets guest’s call experience expectations and is able to answer all types of enquiries.

The position offers a centralised communication service in an efficient manner supporting all departments of the Hotel and is supervising Raffles Service Agents ensuring every call meets the standards.

Supervision of the Raffles Service Team

• Supervises and ensures 24-hour shift coverage of the department and is able to personally cover any role or duty if required.
• Carries out any other duties as and when assigned by Raffles Service Manager or Raffles Service Assistant Manager.
• Ensures smooth operations of Raffles Service by performing all tasks in adherence with the code of ethics as issued by Raffles Hotel Singapore.

This study is undertaken jointly by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London (www.healthforlife.sg). It aims to profile the health and behaviour of people from the general Singapore population. The scope of the study is segmented into (1) surveys on health, lifestyle and dietary habits, (2) physical and functional measurements (e.g. anthropometry, grip strength, exercise test, spirometry, ECG, optical imaging and pulse wave velocity) and (3) investigating biomarkers for chronic diseases. We have just received funding for Phase 2 of the study and are expanding our biobanking team to allow the study to reach out to more people.

The Clinical Research Officer will play a key role in supporting the study, mainly in, but not limited to, the following roles:

• Receive and process biological samples for banking purposes; with accuracy and in a timely manner without compromising sample quality.

• Assist in frozen sample retrieval and sorting.

• Perform nucleic acid (DNA and RNA) extraction and quantification.
