RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement category strategies to achieve business objectives and goals.
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats within the category.
• Monitor and manage the performance of products or services within the category.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers with Procurement Manager/ Category Manager to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate and select new suppliers and products to expand or improve the category's offerings.
• Creating and managing purchase orders to initiate the procurement process and track the delivery of goods and services.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand while minimizing carrying costs.
• Monitor and manage inventory turnover, stockouts, and excess inventory issues.
• Conduct price and market analysis to stay competitive and maximize revenue.
• Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, finance, QA and operations, to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and drive sales growth.
• Ensure that products within the category meet quality and safety standards.
• Stay up to date with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Provide regular reports and updates to immediate superior regarding the category's performance and strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Business / Supply Chain or related disciplines
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in procurement/purchasing for Food/Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry will be preferred
• Well verse in Microsoft office application
• Negotiations skills

As an Accounts Assistant (Accounts Receivable), your primary role is to manage the Home's receivables and ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming payments. You will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to facilitate smooth financial transactions, maintain updated records, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoicing:

• Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.

7. Reporting:

8. Documentation and Compliance:

• Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

9. Cash Application:

• Apply cash receipts to outstanding invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Higher Nitec/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Dynamics NAV, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail in all receivable transactions.
