Job Responsibilities

1. Monitor and supervise outsourced Building and M&E term contractors and ensure they comply to all terms and conditions as per the Term Contract
2. Conduct repair, replacement, cyclical replacements, upgrading and preventive maintenance works for M&E and ACMV systems
3. Monitor school's energy consumption and review investigation reports for service breakdowns, failure analysis and recommend rectifications
4. Conduct building and structural inspections, work programmes for upgrading & rectifications, improvement and A&A and general building repair works
5. Review quotations and create Work Orders for contractors to carry out the necessary building and M&E works in adherence to standard procedures & policies
6. Draft requirements and specifications for Invitation-To-Quote (ITQ) and Invitation-To-Tender (ITT) for all M&E, Building and sustainability related matters and ensure smooth execution according to specifications and timelines
7. Assist Asst Manager in planning annual M&E and Building maintenance budget (CAPEX and recurrent) expenditures
8. Monitor feedback/ requests by stakeholders and ensure that they are attended to by contractors within stipulated time frame
9. Any other duties assigned by the School

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC with at least 5 years of relevant Estate management experience in Building and M&E management
• Candidates with Green Mark certification experience/ accreditation will be preferred
• Proficient in M&E systems and maintenance; technical competence in building defects works and interpretation of building structural and M&E drawing plans
• Proficient in BMS, M&E and ACMV systems and maintenance
• Good written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and good eye for detail
• Good organisation and time management skills with ability to work independently on tight deadlines and under pressure
• Good customer service skills with the ability to build appropriate and professional yet friendly working relationships with staff
• Ability to find solutions to problems with some degree of flexibility in the approach whenever possible
• This is a 2-year contract position (renewable)

• Good degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized University
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Civil & Structural Consultancy Firm
• Experience in Underground & Bridge structures would be advantages
• Ability to work independently
• Candidates without the relevant working experience but with good academic results may be considered

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, OR/AND Certification in CCNA
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Proficient in enterprise networking, including WAN, LAN, and VPN optimization implementation and support
• Skilled in administering Microsoft Server 2012 and later, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite products/services
• Familiar with internet architecture designs such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Firewall
• Familiar with devices like Alcatel PABX, FortiGate Devices, Cisco and Unifi Wireless AP Controller
• Strong knowledge of CyberRisk and CyberSecurity; familiarity with PDPA is highly preferred
• Experience with Veeam, VMware, and UNIX/Linux is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality pre-sales technical consultation and develop cost effective, resilient, innovative and reliable ICT solutions to win proposals and bids/tenders and achieve high customer satisfaction for the services rendered.
• Understand customers'' networking and communications requirements and provide high quality network design for customers'' WAN networks.
• Perform role of overall solution consultant integrating network solutions and managed ICT services; ensuring ICT solutions proposed by partners meet customer requirements.
• Conduct presentations on proposed solutions and new technologies to customers.
• Prepare win/loss analysis for proposals/bids/tenders submitted to facilitate continuous improvement of networks designed.
• Ensure quality documentation and updates for customers'' network configurations and processes.
• Provide support to project managers and partners in WAN network project implementations and support operations and service managers in post sales queries when required
• Responsible for providing technical and solutioning support to the Sales team in capturing customers’ requirements, preparing and presenting proposals.
• Work with cross functional teams to coordinate sales, post-sales and support resources to drive successful closure and implementation for customers
• Gather in depth hardware, applications and networks requirement to architect and design a suitable highly available, secure and scalable solutions to meet client requirement.
• Working with the Account Manager to accurately define client solutions and to help drive bids and sales
• Walk through and present to clients the various technologies and services proposed and explain technical details and value proposition of the proposed solution.
• Influence and gain approval of the proposed solution from client.
• Act as a trusted advisor for nominated client accounts.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of the products
• Coordinate internal/external resources to effectively pursue opportunities.
• Disseminate feedback to business units gained from client experiences and issues to facilitate product improvement or enhancements
• Participate in project handover, acting as the subject matter expert, brief project team on solutions construct, point of contact for any discrepancy is design gaps and escalation to Vendors for support.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• At least 4-7 years working experience in consultation or presales in the Telecommunications or IT Industry
• Competency in IP networks, SDN, IoT, cybersecurity or telco Cloud NFV environment.
• Strong command of English, with good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Possess CCNA and preferable with network or/and ICT or/and security certifications.
