We are seeking a finance executive for our client, a leading media platform. Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete set of accounting records for the Company and related entities.
- Prepare and generate management reports, monthly bank reconciliations, and other financial statements.
- Oversee all bookkeeping activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Inventory management.
- Handle GST, payroll, tax-related matters, government grants, and inventory/equipment-related financial tasks.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, collaborating with the management team to manage any budget variances.
- Ensure the on-time delivery of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as per the management schedule.
- Develop and implement effective internal control systems and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Perform administrative duties related to payroll, grants, employee leave schedules, compliance with MOM regulations, and basic HR tasks.
- Provide personal assistant support to the CEO as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field (or equivalent).
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience, with familiarity in IFRS, group consolidation, and general accounting practices.
- Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.
- Interest in the media industry
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
