about the job

• Fulfilling distributor stocks
• Negotiate with distributors and solve problems in supply chain
• Ensure that inventory control processes are in place
• Facilitate sales and operations planning to review forecasts and provide visibility on supply status
• Secure regional sales forecast into the demand planning process
• Handle enquirers such as inventory availability, order follow-up and delivery coordination, and freight quotations
• Handle inquiries on products
• Execute long and short-range inventory strategies

skills & experience required

• Bachelors / Diploma qualification
• Min 4 years of supply chain (end to end) experience operating in a manufacturing / 3PL environment
• Manage warehouse operations and willing to be hands on with day to day operations if need be
• Supervisory experience in managing warehouse storekeeper / operators etc
• Experience in manufacturing / automotive environment will be a plus
• Proficient with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)

Job scope:

• Improve company’s market position and achieve financial growth
• Meet and exceed objectives through the development of new businesses, coordination of Business Development shipments and existing business penetration
• Identify target customers, initiate own sales calls, pursue them and ultimately convert them into clients
• Working with Finance and Indoor Sales team on payment issues and follow up on payment with clients

Job Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Handle the complete functions of Accounts Payable within the Finance Department.
• Timely and accurately process supplier invoices, matching them with supporting documents.
• Plan cash outflows and manage the processing of payments.
• Ensure all payments align with the Company's policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Follow up on actions to maintain a clean and up-to-date creditors aging.
• Establish new creditor codes as necessary.
• Participate in month-end closing activities, including AP aging reports, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, and journal adjustments.
• Assist in general Finance administrative duties and undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
