Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and management to continuously improvement on maintenance operations and support

production process equipment.

2. Work collaboratively within Production unit (Production, Engineering, and Electrical & Instrumentation) and other functions.

3. Ensure safety is integrated in every aspect of work performed by APS standard

4. To meet the production operations is supported with maintenance services to meet the Asahi Kasei Business needs.

5. Optimize equipment uptime, equipment reliability, and equipment efficiency by analyzing equipment performance data and maintenance practices and recommend improvements to procedures, systems and approaches.

6. Enhance or create effective maintenance programs to promote maximum equipment availability, capacity, productivity, and elimination of production discrepancies.

7. Provide troubleshooting and diagnosis of machinery / equipment failure to determine the root cause and perform immediate corrective action.

8. To manage analysis of maintenance data to identify trends equipment and organizational performance that adversely affect efficiency, cost quality, plant capacity, and production throughput. Implement recommendations on actions that can be taken to reverse adverse trends.

9. Manage the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies

10. Manage development and implementation of enhancements designed to increase efficiency, effectiveness and quality while reducing costs

11. Ensure that documentation needs are provided within the context of maintenance programs.

12. Maintain an excellent employee workplace through the coaching, development and training of employees.

13. Provide reports to management as required.

14. Manage and control Maintenance Operation cost, and prepare and monitor Annual Maintenance Budget

15. Manage contractors / vendors progress in accordance to work schedule

16. Planning of site work schedule

17. Resolution of site issues encountered

18. Establish new capabilities and infrastructure to support company business growth plan

19. Analyse failure trends and implement corrective actions

20. Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.

21. Able to liase closely with Japanese counterparts and Japan Headquarter.

22. Working closely with internal colleagues and external colleagues (Japan) for trouble-shooting and analytical.

Requirements:

· Degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

· Able to use PC and MS Office programs

· Minimum 10-12 years relevant experience in Oil/Chemical/Plastics industries is an advantage

· Knowledge of mechanical plants and materials

Requirements

• Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
• Strong skills in budget development and oversight
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
• Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
• Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field

Job Description & Requirements

• Ensure proper planning and execution of projects to meet or exceed performance indicators in term of quality and timeframe

Job Requirements:-

• Have working experience in Structural Steel erection, in A&A, R&R and new projects
• Have experience in liasing with regulatory authorities and clients.

• Proficient in computer skills such as Microsoft Project /Word/Powerpoint/Excel etc

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the projects he is assigned to are completed in a timely and economical manner in keeping with the Company and Project’s business objectives
• Monitors and focuses project execution schedule and plan based on each phase of the project requirement
• Ensures Hull meets all Design Specifications in accordance with class, technical requirements and project objectives
• Liaises with Client on various report requirement and updates.
• Manages Hull engineering and construction and commissioning activities at construction sites in China.
• Ensures weekly status accurately depicts percent complete, remaining labor and material costs
• Participates in JHA and review risk assessment for key critical project activities
• Maintains effective working relationships across Client team, the Seatrium team, Hull contractor and subcontractors
• Prepares and presents Monthly Executive Review which accurately portray project status, issues with mitigation plans, schedule compliance and opportunity in addition to identifying areas that indicate signs of risk to the project’s success
• Pursues and anticipates emergent work items and associated tasking
• Meets daily with the project team, to review open issues, actions required in support of cost and schedule, identifying, and tracking items which may impact cost and or schedule
• Complies and ensures workforce follow closely to Safe Work Procedure (SWP) for all work activities
• Monitors housekeeping standards and assigns areas of responsibilities, Compliance to PPE requirements, safe behavior as appropriate to Seatrium’s Life Saving Rules
• Works with Contractor on areas outside of responsibilities to ensure a safe working environment for all
• Ensures post-mortems and lesson learnt on project are done and to review the achievement of project objectives.
• Practices awareness of the bigger picture while reinforcing the meticulous execution of project specific items.
• Oversees the Hull contract execution through handover to integration yard and closure of shipyard contract.
• Ensures that all Hull project documentation (final as built) is completed

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering/Project Management.
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Shipyard Operations
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

1. Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable function for all subsidiaries with the Group.
