Our client is hiring for an Events Manager to adapt global processes and event workflows to the APAC businesses. BAU responsibilities include managing end-to-end planning of events, creating promotional plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and building registration sites. Other key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, overseeing event marketing, and maintaining brand guidelines.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 4+ years of end-to-end event planning experience for interal and third party events, preferably in Financial Services
• Experience in setting processes
• Experience using Salesforce, Hubspot, Eventbrite, On24 and/or Cvent, along with excellent communication and organizational skills
• A bachelor’s degree is required, marketing or event-related qualifications is advantageous
• Ability to travel and handle multiple projects is a must

• Oversee all operation needs of outlet .
• Provides support to Operations Manager & District Managers, establishing and accomplishing business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Prepare for smooth tour progression and handles any problems that may arise throughout the tours
2. Facilitate the tour production by attending to customers and Japanese staff during their pre-visit. This includes attending training inspection
3. Assistance to the staff in charge of quotation and arrangement
4. Respond to the occurrence of customer problems and instructs members of the team to deal with them
5. Assist the manager in providing travel content advice to the Japan office
6. Provide guidance and direction to team members regarding their work
7. Develop and implement solutions to problems that arise
8. Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time

Experience & Skill-set required:

1. At least 10 years of working experience in the tourism or hospitality industry required
2. Elementary management knowledge is preferred
3. Fluent in both English & Advanced Business Japanese language skills is essential as well as proper business communication & written skills to liaise closely with Japanese customer, tour leader, local Japan sales office
4. Knowledge of MS Office

Ability in leading of Project Team to achieve excellence in the project.

· Plan and manage project schedule to ensure project completion according to schedule.

· Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

· Monitor compliance of work with workplace safety and health regulations.

· Monitor the quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.

· To implement control measures on material / plant & equipment / utilities usage.
