We are seeking a Finance Executive for our Singapore Office to support the Finance & Accounting Team. Candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Able to handle all aspects relating to the accounting functions to facilitate the closing of the full set of accounts (eg: GL, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation, Payroll & etc)
• Request and monitor Payments of branches and summarize and report.
• Review contracts & agreements, and follow up with other counterparts.
• Generating integrated reports under the Finance Operation team
• Support the financial planning and cashflow forecasting processes
• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Handling any other ad-hoc duties or operational issues requiring finance involvement
• Communicate with IT team to improve the logistics monitoring system
• Update and test system about index and feedback results to the IT team

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA.
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Possess a willing-to-learn attitude
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workloads for maximum effectiveness.
• Able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 will be advantageous
• Preferable if able to commence work immediately

Remuneration:

• Basic Salary: starting from $2,800 depending on career
• Performance Incentive: $300 monthly depends on performance appraisal & good attendance
• $10 meal allowance for overtime exceeding 2hrs
• 12 days Annual Leave per year
• Standard Sick Leave & Hospitalization & Child Care leave, Marriage leave, Paternity Leave, Maternity Leave
• Quarterly performance reviews with salary adjustments

Working Hours: 5 days

• Mon to Thu – 8 am to 6 pm, Fri – 9 am to 6 pm

Job Description

1. Download daily bank statements and Prepare weekly AP report

2. Prepare weekly AP report

3. Create new entries in ACCPAC (customer, vendor names, GL Code of vessels/voyages,etc)

4. Data input of AP interco-billing in ACCPAC system.

5. Check and post data entries in ACCPAC system.

6. Process and update invoices received

7. Liase and follow up with company branches on vendor SOA

8. Perform monthly closing of accounts

9. Any other related accounting tasks

Job Requirements

- Good understanding of accounting principles

- Knowledge &/or experience in Accpac accounting software will be an added advantage

- Proficiency in MS-Office applications

- Willingness to learn and is a fast learner

Job Descriptions:

• Provide sophisticated calendar management for GCEO. Prioritize inquiries and requests, make good judgement and resolve any scheduling issues in the management of GCEO’s calendar to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
• Perform a gatekeeping role for GCEO on email inboxes and inquiries, compose and prepare correspondences.
• Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the GCEO’s ability to effectively lead the organisation, including preparation of reports and presentations, collect and prepare information for meetings, document and write minutes, maintain contact lists, and make travel arrangements etc.
• Maintain an organised and efficient filling system.
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including Board of Directors.
• Assist to proof-read business contracts, agreements prior submitting to GCEO for approval.
• Manage all aspects of GCEO’s office services.
• Provide event management, personal tasks and errands support when requested.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in an Executive Assistant capacity supporting C-Suite level executives
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration. Basic legal knowledge is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Strong command of English, and good written skills
• Proficiency in Chinese would be an added advantage as this position will be required to liaise with Business Teams in China on regular basis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivable.
• POS Software Management:Regularly tally sales data from the POS software across all outlets.
  Ensure accurate recording of daily transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  Generate and analyze sales reports from the POS system.
  
• Monthly Reporting: Compile and submit comprehensive monthly financial reports, including sales performance, expenses, and cash flow, to management.
• Payroll Management: Calculate and process payroll, ensuring timely payment of employees and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Taxation and Compliance: Manage GST submissions, CPF contributions, and ensure compliance with Singapore’s accounting and tax regulations.
• Vendor Relations: Handle payments to suppliers and service providers, reconciling accounts as needed.
• Inventory Coordination: Work with the team to track and record stock levels for financial reporting.
• Process Optimization: Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (experience in retail or service industries is a plus).
• Familiarity with POS software and its financial reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax laws, GST, and CPF regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
